Presented by: Elizabeth Ambrose
Elizabeth Ambrose is a NAATI certified translator and Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. After completing a Bachelor of Arts/Law at Melbourne University, she went on to obtain a Graduate Diploma in Translation (Concordia University). Elizabeth worked at the Australian Embassy in Paris before taking up a position as Translator/Interpretation Coordinator at the International Criminal Court, where she worked for over ten years. She has recently obtained her Master’s in Speech Pathology and is passionate about speech pathology service delivery in multilingual contexts. She is currently working at Curtin University on research investigating bilingual language processing in stroke survivors, and continues to work as a freelance translator.

Fatih Karakas is the Trainer and Training & PD Coordinator at All Graduates. He is also a lecturer in the Translating and Interpreting Program at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University where he also completed his Masters in Translation and Interpreting. He teaches both at Vocational and Higher Education levels and has delivered training in other states across the country for RMIT University and AUSIT. He is particularly interested in teaching interpreting skills as well as ethics and professionalism with a focus on providing non-language specific training via online Learning Management Systems. Fatih is also a NAATI certified interpreter and translator (Turkish-English) specialising in legal and healthcare interpreting.
A Certificate of Attendance will be issued after the webinar has passed and/or recording has been accessed. Participants will be eligible to 10 PD points towards recertification (Section 1.4 of NAATI Recertification PD Catalogue). Some webinars may attract PD points from multiple categories. Please choose the most appropriate category for your recertification.
